]]>But hold on, that’s not all. Microsoft has also confirmed that the digital-only version of the Next-Gen console, the Series S, will also be released on the same day and additionally the Series S will cost less than the X.
What is the difference you ask? Well apart from the size and that the Series S is a digital-only (No CD Drive), there are a few notable differences.

The Series S is said to be 60% smaller than the Series X, with 512GB SSD. Unfortunately, you will not be able to natively play as 4K definition, the Series S does support 4K media streaming, for a guy like me, I don’t mind. The Series X will however come with native 4K output and a 1TB SSD. Now the question you have been asking yourself since you started reading this article, is of course, how much is it going to cost? Well, I’ve got good news, the Series S will be retailing at $299 which is roughly R5100.00, but expect the price to be around R6999.99, and the Series X will be retailing for $599, expect to be paying around R11 999.00. Pre-orders for both will start on the 28th of September.

]]>Currently I don’t know much about the Avengers game however from the reviews I have went through, the game will have a campaign mode with various missions, you can select a character that suits you depending on the mission. As you progress through the games your heroes will level up. You will be able to get in-game loot for your heroes, but according to gamers who have played the beta, there isn’t much visual change to you upgrades.
I have watched the gameplay demo, and I must say, it looks chaotic. It kinda of reminds me of Prototype .

]]>The post Leaked? | Xbox Series X & S Release Date first appeared on The Men-tal Hospital.
]]>But let’s get back into focus. A series of pictures that have surfaced of social media and gaming platforms, seem to depict what could be concluded as the release date of the Series X. The 1st picture is said to show a controller online warranty, which dates that the warranty is valid still 5 November 2021, why is this evidence? Well Microsoft has a “year from purchase” warranty, so given the validity til 5.11.2021, this could be an indication of what the ended release date is.

Secondly, a twitter user posted a picture of what is said to be packaging of the controller. The packaging was marked that “DO NOT SELL OR DISPLAY BEFORE 05 NOV 2020”, which, if the pictures are real, is a clear indication of the release date. Apart from the 2 pictures that surfaced online, previous blog posts by Microsoft have suggested that the console might be released Nov of 2020.

]]>The leak came from Doritos marketing material. Given that Doritos has done promotional work for COD (not in South Africa though, we never get cool stuff here), this gives the rumors more credibility. We also waited to see trusted sources such as LevelCap and Chaos mention this leak, and well it seems legit…

As the name suggests, the game is set during the Cold World. The game will have a single player campaign mode, multiplayer and the Black Ops favourite game mode for most players that I know, Zombies.
According to credible gaming blogs and youtube channels. a mysterious application from Activision popped up on the Microsoft store. Speculation is that it is related to the release of BOCW. There have been various claims that once the application is launched there is the Black OPS logo and some dates listed.

It is suspected that Activision and Treyarch will reveal the on the 4th of August 2020.

]]>The post Halo Infinite | Gameplay Demo first appeared on The Men-tal Hospital.
]]>From the visuals released by Microsoft, I think the open world is breathtaking. I don’t know if I should call myself a Halo fan or not, but I have a few games from the saga but never finished any of them, that’s why I am confused if I am a fan or not. Regardless, the weapons look crisp and brutal. Gameplay looks smooth and refined, and with the vast open-world play, this should guarantee hours of exploration and fun.
The demo did not include any Multiplay gameplay, however, is said that Infinite will not be released with a Battle Royale game mode, but it is said players will be able to create gameplay similar to Battle Royale. I am reckoning they will stick with the 16 Player multiplayer game lobbies, it doesn’t matter when it comes to multiplayer with Halo, it is always great.
The only thing I didn’t quite like from seeing the demo is the popup map. It looks like something from a 80s game, and for the tech that is in Halo game, they could have done better in my opinion.
As we all know, Halo is a Microsoft exclusive, so will only be available on Microsoft platforms ( Series X ) and possibly with Microsoft Play-Anywhere, it will be available on Xbox One and PC, which leads to be seen. The Game is due to be released later this year.
